Scooter Policy

The Office of Student Affairs, in partnership with University Health Services, offers battery powered scooters to aid students who have injuries that hinder mobility. The program is administered by the NDSP and University Health Services.

  • written authorization from University Health Services is required before a scooter can be checked out
  • maximum use of scooter 8 weeks
  • University Health Services may grant extensions if necessary
  • users are responsible for damages; the student’s account will be charged if necessary
  • $50 charge for lost key or cord (per item)
  • scooters are available on a first come – first serve basis
  • On-campus emergencies- dial 911
  • Non-emergency calls - dial 631-5555
  • SAFEWALK - dial 634-BLUE (2583)

NDSP is a service organization whose product is safety.
